The Gerrys

Faces framed by open doorways
Always open of harsh necessity

Unmoving faces, propped up
In their geri-chairs,
Facing out - - Always.

But the eyes, the eyes are Alive.
They move and follow
The limited world
Framed by open doorways
Always open, of harsh necessity.
